Olga Yermolenko

Olga Yermolenko is a broadly experienced venture investor and startup operator, working at the intersection of strategy, technology and impact. Her passion is helping businesses and entrepreneurs reach their maximum potential and create a positive change. Currently Olga works with family office clients on social impact and venture investments, offering venture strategy, dealflow curation and on-demand institutional-quality due diligence services. Olga has diligenced over $1.2B worth of early and growth stage deals across various industries in the past six years. In addition, Olga has advised 80+ startups to date.

Olga started her career in finance as the fifth employee at Helios Advisors, where she managed the hedge fund’s operations, risk management, compliance, marketing and investor relations through its growth from $20M AUM to half a billion in four years. From there, Olga was recruited by an emerging PE fund focused on Sub-Saharan Africa, where she witnessed the power of technology in the frontier markets. In 2010 Olga joined the Executives-in-Residence (EIR) team at Insight Venture Partners, a $30B growth-stage VC and PE fund, where she evaluated prospective investments and identified M&A targets for existing portfolio companies.

While at Insight, Olga developed a strategic rollup plan, raised $250M to buy out an existing portfolio company to build a platform on top of, and set up and operated the NewCo. This is where Olga got the entrepreneurship bug and has helped spearhead several startups, including a corporate wellness company, a sustainable fashion brand and – most notably – a quantum computing startup, a Y Combinator, a16z-backed company that has raised $200M to date.

Active in women empowerment networks, Olga is a founding member of Dreamers//Doers, an online community of high-impact female entrepreneurs and Declare (former Parity Partners), a network of high-potential women aiming for the C-suite. Olga is a mentor with the Big Idea Ventures accelerator, SAP.io, WeWork Labs, Halo incubator and the Larta Institute. Olga is a dedicated yoga and meditation teacher and practitioner living in New York City.
